AGAPE GREEK RADIO: First Annual Music & Fashion Show in Toronto

Agape Greek Radio’s “sold out” Toronto Fundraiser…

The first annual Agape Greek Radio Music and Fashion Show was a spectacular and successful sold out event of nearly 1000 guests on Nov 3, 2019 at Parkview Manor.

It was produced and sponsored by Agape Greek Radio (whose creator is none other than Stan Papulkas, a Rogers media executive and producer for over 35 years!). One of the sponsors was the Hellenic Heritage Foundation. Stanley Papulkas and Tom Michalopoulos were the executive producers of this outstanding show.

Dora Konomi and George Scandalis did a fantastic job hosting , and segments of the show were televised live by Agape Greek TV, by hostess of A.G.R. Irene Anargirou. Many were involved in the making of the show ~ including Tereza Nikolaidis who had organized 24 fashion shows previous to this.

This show showcased local Greek Canadian talent and designers. Singers performed while models ranging in all ages walked on the runway. The shows director/choreographer was Isabel Starck along with Mada Papadakou.

Model instructors, volunteering their time were : Mada Papadakou, and Christina and Athena Bozios , the assistant model instructors.

All proceeds of this fundraiser go to W.I.N. Hellas, founded by Mada Papadakou, an organization based in Athens, Greece that helps abused women through counselling and therapy, and for the Greek Community Education fund.
