Comedy legend John Cleese joins Stephen Wallis’s heartbreaking Christmas story about the final days of Father Christmas.

Indie Magic Studios, North Film Co. and Magic Door Films announce the start date for their highly anticipated film “The Death of Father Christmas.” The three companies will commence principal photography early in 2020.

The film is a heartbreaking comedic drama about the last days in the life of Father Christmas as his family gathers around him on Christmas Eve. The film will be shot in and around Burk’s Falls and Huntsville, Ontario.
The cast will include Oscar nominee John Cleese (A Fish Called Wanda) as Father Christmas. Other cast will include Canadian stalwarts, Shawn Roberts (Resident Evil), Ron James (The Ron James Show), Graham Greene (Dances With Wolves) and Eric Peterson (Corner Gas). Additional cast will be announced on December 24th, 2019 on an online press conference for the film.

Mr. Wallis has four features to be released in 2020 including the Oscar wild card “The Martini Shot” and Burt Reynolds final film “Defining Moments.” The film will be produced by Stephen Wallis, Susan Ilott, Michael Godfrey, James Robson and Russ De Jong.
