Kids T.O. Kids Celebrity Fashion Runway Show

Bravo to the organizers!

What an awesome day this was! The prestigious Montecassino Banquet and Event Venue in Woodbridge served as the perfect place for a first class fashion show.

The fashion show featured 60 child models, actors, singers, and dancers, aged 2-17. Jessica Gregory did a brilliant job of coaching the kids on the runway. The show was hosted by Fashion Director Peter Papapetrou, along with Samantha and Madeleine Caleon – a.k.a. The Caleon Twins.

Sponsors came from as far west as Surrey, BC, as far south as North Carolina, USA, and as far east as Australia.

Kids T.O. Kids is a recently-established Not-for-Profit organization, based in Toronto. The organization was initiated by a small group of children in the entertainment industry, with the sole purpose of giving back to the community. With the support from their parents and families, who volunteer their time and talents to help realize the vision of the children, the group is taking off, and is ready to see their vision come to life.

The mission of this Runway of Hope Fashion Show is to raise funds in support of the Toronto-based, volunteer-run Million Dollar Smiles charity, http://www.milliondollarsmiles.ca Over the past 10 years, this wonderful charity has helped families with children facing adversity from life-threatening illnesses through various campaigns, such as their Travelling Teddy Bears, and Summer Playground Build, among others. To date, over 350 playgrounds have been installed in the backyards of special children in Toronto and surrounding areas. Each Installation costs approximately $3000.00, and is put together entirely by a group of volunteers. We, the members of the group and our families, will also be volunteering for these installations.

Runway of Hope Volunteers

On Sunday, September 15th, a strong team of 32 volunteers built the very first playground in the backyard of one very special child in Ancaster, Ontario, fulfilling the mission of the Kids T.O. Kids Runway of Hope group – to give back to the community!

The first Runway of Hope was a great success. Together, this wonderful organization raised enough funds to build not 1, not 2 but 3 playgrounds through Million Dollar Smiles!
